Position : Fiberglass Finisher
Location : Knoxville, TN 37914
Role Overview: A Fiberglass Finisher plays an important role in producing high-quality fiberglass pools and spas by trimming, grinding, repairing, and cleaning molded fiberglass products. Using hand and portable power tools, this hands-on position focuses on inspecting finishes, correcting imperfections, and smoothing surfaces to ensure each product meets quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, safe handling of chemicals and equipment, maintaining a clean work environment, and working effectively with the team to meet production goals.
What you'll Do: - Trim, grind, sand, repair, and clean fiberglass pools and spas using hand and portable power tools.
- Inspect products for imperfections, defects, and finish quality.
- Perform repairs and surface preparation to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Smooth and finish surfaces to achieve a clean, consistent appearance.
- Safely handle chemicals, tools, equipment, and fiberglass materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and production standards.
- Work efficiently with the production team to meet daily production goals and schedules.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Key Skills and Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in fiberglass, manufacturing, construction, bodywork, or a similar hands-on environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and portable power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions, measurements, and established procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
